“A Lonesome God Has Prepared

 A People To Rule With Him”

PERSONAL NOTE  TO  OUR  FAITHFUL READERS, SUPPORTERS:

   My last sermon to DeWitt Tabernacle was showing how our Word Prophet predicted 50 years ago that we were headed for a government shut down!  Now we are there.

   Quote: Seal Book, Page 169, “Like this fellow down here in….what’s his name----Castro, did.  He did the only smart thing he ever did do then, when he destroyed the bonds----paid them off and destroyed them.  Notice, but we can’t do that.  These guys won’t let us.

   The rich merchants of the earth hold it, and there is only one thing to do.  The Catholic Church can pay it off.  She’s the only one that’s got the money, and she can do it, and she will do it.

   And in doing this to get it, she will compromise with the Jews and make a covenant, and when she makes this covenant with the Jews…Now remember, I am taking this from the Scriptures!  And now when she does this, and makes this covenant, we notice in Daniel 8: 23&25, he will cause craft to prosper, and craft is manufacturing in his hand.

   And he makes this covenant with the Jews, and in the midst of this three and one-half years, he breaks his covenant a soon as he gets this thing wrapped up and gets the money of the Jews tied up.  And when he does that, oh my, oh my, he is called the antichrist, until the end of the church age.”  (End of quote)

   How close are we to the bailout by the Vatican?  Notice!  The Prophet said, “They will do it” The Bible predicts, and Br. Branham said, “We will have an American Pope (Rev. 13:11-18).  It seems to this writer that we are at a good time for a bail-out by Rome!

    We are watching and waiting for the second stage of the Rapture to take place, which will be a resurrection of the dead Bride and a gathering with the live Bride!  Hold on with the Perfect Faith God has given us, dear readers, it’s about over.  We are going home.

 Our title is “THE LONESOME GOD.”  Can you imagine such a thing?  Could it be true that the Perfect One was lonesome? Yes!  A prophet came and said it was true.  And so, a lonesome God has prepared a People to rule with Him.  This is what my sermon is about.

   From the beginning of time, God was alone and He got lonesome!  Br. Branham explained it like this: He said, "God had attributes in Himself that had not been exercised.  He wanted to be a Savior, but there was no one that needed saving.  He wanted to be a Healer, but there was no one that needed healing.  He wanted to be loved, but there was no one to love Him.  He was alone! And God got lonesome.  Have you ever been lonesome?  That is an attribute of God, something in us that makes us desire fellowship!

   Every Born-Again person has this in them; they want to love and be loved.  That’s from God, but oh how we humans miss God’s mark for us when we try to fill that lonesomeness with things out of Satan’s Eden.  And, out of God’s lonesomeness, and out of His desire to have fellowship and companionship, He formulated a plan in his great mind!  He was determined to display what was in His Perfect Character and His Perfect Plan was to create other beings like Himself to have fellowship with.

  And so, the Bible says, “He created man in His own Image, in the Image of God created He him, male and female created He them.”  And this man was in Heaven with Him in a body just like a body that God, Himself had!  Like when He came down to Abraham’s tent door and had dinner with him.  Like when he appeared to Enoch and gave him the details about building the Great Pyramid.  Like when he talked with Noah and gave him details and blueprints for the ark.  And then all was well in Heaven for the time being.  But, we are taught that God knew the end from the beginning, and He knew what one of His perfect beings would end of doing after awhile.  He saw Lucifer decide to rebel against His God-ship and desire to be a God himself.  And, He created all of His creatures with the ability and the right to decide for themselves the course of life they would take, because this was the only way He could receive pleasure from His created beings.  If He had made us puppets on a string, or robots controlled by Himself, with no say-so about our life, then His joy was empty and His purpose for the creation of man was lost!  And so, knowing what His perfect angel, Lucifer, would do, He created him anyway, and then would use him to bring to pass His great plan for fellowship!

   Nothing that our Perfect God has thought to do can ever be stopped or changed.  No created being can ever overthrow the One who created him.  Who is the greatest, the Creator or the one who He created?  This is only Holy Ghost horse-sense, and is never questioned by Holy Ghost filled people.  And so, there was rebellion in Heaven because iniquity was found in Lucifer.  Did God put it in him to rebel? Never, God warned him not to go there with it.  But God would not override, or over-rule Lucifer’s choice. 

Free-moral-agency was God’s plan from day one, and is still perfectly in order today.  The only way it can ever change is for someone to sin away their day of Grace, and be turned over to a reprobate mind.  When that happens, the person is no longer a free-moral-agent, but is forever lost.

   And so now, 6000 years down the road from Creation, we have a platform that God works from in order to receive glory from His creation, and that platform is that He gives every person the right, the privilege, to choose Him or the Devil, Him (The Word), life or death, right or wrong. And the ones who choose to follow Him, love Him and honor Him, He is receiving glory this morning.  Because He has forced no one to do it, He waits for us to come to Him willing!

   Now, let’s go deeper into God’s plan for Creation.  The primary purpose for the Creation of the universe was for the production and preparation of an eternal companion for God Himself, and He called this eternal group His Bride.  Since she is to share the throne of the universe with Him, (her Divine Lover) and be privileged to judge the world with Him.  She has to be trained, educated in spiritual things and prepared for Her role.  And, that brings us back to the Bride Revival!  We are in it now, and have been in it for 50 years.  It is a purging of our sins because the Crown is only for the over-comers.  We are now being taught to have personal victory over all Devil things.  This personal victory must be reached before we can break Satan’s hold over the universe.  Then we stand before God full of the Holy Ghost, and loose God’s Children around the globe, and they are loosed in Heaven.  Then we stand and bind the strongman (the Devil) around the globe and he is bound in Heaven. Through the use of the Bride’s authority on Earth this morning, God holds the balance of power on Earth in world affairs.  In spite of all the Bride’s failures, in spite of Her weak spots, She is the mightiest force for the help of mankind in the world today.

   In order to help His Bride overcome Satan, God came down and lived as a man and conquered Satan physically, spiritually, and by the power of His own free-moral-agency, rendered him defeated forever.  Now, today, God has placed the enforcement of Christ’s victory over Satan into the hands of the Bride Church!  We are headed right back to God’s original plan, as we read it in Gen.1:27-28, “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

   Verse 28, and God blessed them, and said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

   Here we are subject to vanity. (Rom. 8:20)  The flesh pulls us into sin at times. But, in our new bodies that we’ll have in the Millennium, the flesh will be gone, and there will be no more pull toward sin.  Here our inner man is being renewed day by day.  That inner man is the Creator, Himself, the Holy Ghost.

   What are we looking for in the scriptures?  We are looking for God’s final goal for His Creation, the finished product of a People created for His own Glory, the finished product of all Seven Church Ages, the spotless Bride of Christ, who has been made perfect by faith through the death of the God-man.  He is about ready to come and deliver His bride from Her bondage of flesh, and then Her perfect character will be displayed for 1000 years on Earth, after the Marriage Supper in Heaven for three and one-half years.

   We may not understand why the Great Creator has chosen to give His Kingdom to this little flock; we may not understand why He has chosen to share His throne and His Glory with the Redeemed.  A close as I can get to understanding it is, He was lonesome.  But we know from His own Word and the mouth of His last day Prophet that He has chosen to share His Throne and His Glory with us.  Soon the Bride will be on the throne with Her Divine Husband.  But, until then, they are on Earth in human flesh being led by God to control all Earth’s affairs, with one main goal in mind, and that is live forever on this Earth, first for a 1000 year honeymoon, then for Eternity in  the New City of Jerusalem that will come down from Heaven.  And we, as individuals, will decide our own destiny in this great plan of God!  If we decide for Him, He will put us on a tight wire, but give us a balancing pole which is His Word.

   God already knows what every person’s final decision will be, and by that He was able to predestinate, or Elect everyone that will be saved.  The Bible declares that He was able to know what every person would do, while He was yet the only Person in existence.  He knew the end from the beginning!  Before there was anyone or anything, and while He was still by Himself , He saw what He would create, and what each created being would end up doing and being!

   Here is the Scripture for the statement.  Rom. 8:29:30, “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

   Verse 30,  Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.”

   Can we see it?  God had foreknowledge of all His created Beings, and was able, therefore, to predestinate, or elect all those who wanted to be saved!  God does not, nor will He ever override or overrule man’s choice!  We were once an Angel in Heaven that did not fall!  We did not follow Lucifer’s rebellion!

   QUOTE: “UNFAILING REALITIES OF THE LIVING GOD,” 1960 PAGE 30, “Like God, when He made the world, the seventh day, He rested after that.  He rested; He went on resting.  When we enter into God, we rest all the time, not from one Sunday to another; we rest eternal; we got Eternal Life.  The Holy Spirit gives you Rest.  Now they had a Pentecostal experience, a reality of God.  They found something. 

   Let me say one more thing.  Creeds does not satisfy a hungry heart.  Creeds won’t satisfy.  If a man is hungry for God, you tell him, say, “Say the apostle’s Creed, join the church, put your name on here, be sprinkled or immerse or whatever you want to, that will never satisfy a hungry soul.  Cause, they were predestinated of God to search for Life. They was once the angels of Heaven who did not fall.  One-third of the angels of Heaven fell; that’s these evil spirits working amongst people, very religious.  You know the Bible says that.  You was just not all always right here.  You were once somewhere else.  Remember, sin didn’t begin on Earth.  Sin begin in Heaven, when Lucifer taken and made it.  He said, “I want a denomination, make a great big thing,” went on the North Country and set up a bigger thing than Michael had.  And He was kicked out of Heaven.

   And those angels back there, them spirits.  Well that’s the reason, “When this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting.’ See? And that’s the reason, ‘Our name was put on the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world.’ ‘All the Father has given Me will come to Me.”  (End of quote)

   Surely, we understand that there are different kinds of angels!  We were first created in an angelic body, like God’s own body, and then were put here in the flesh.  But other angels were not created to be put in flesh.  God was looking in the mirror, so to speak, when He created us in His own likeness and image!

   We made the statement that, “God will not over-ride or over-rule man’s decision, this statement is a key to understanding God’s Plan of Salvation.  Although God does surely know what every man will do, we must choose for ourselves, He will not choose for us!

   I will close the sermon with God’s own Words concerning this Truth.

   Deut. 30: 14-20, “But the word is very nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

   Verse 15, See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

   Verse 16, In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

   Verse 17,”But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

Verse 18, I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go and possess it.

   Verse 19, I call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore   choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

   Verse 20, That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

   You may say, “I did not choose God, He chose me.”  That is the truth as for our life here in the flesh is concerned, but don’t overlook the truth that we had to choose to stay with Him in Heaven when one-third of the angels chose to follow Lucifer!

   This is reading between the lines of Scripture as the Prophet told us to do.  Amen.
