“GOD IS NOT JUDGING US FOR OUR PAST SINS”

Personal
note to our Readers: Wrong teaching, even from some of our Message Pulpits,
has led people to look upon the character of Jesus Christ as Stern and
Forbidding. He has been
represented as so far removed from Sympathy for man in his Fallen state, that
many have despaired of hope. It is
this Writer’s opinion that our lack of trust in Christ is largely due to our
wrong ideas of His character! God
sent us a prophet who did his best to show us a compassionate, loving, Saviour,
with arms outstretched, inviting all to come to Him with their burden of Sin,
their worries and their cares! Br.
Branham longed to clear away the obstructions which Satan had piled up to keep
men from seeing the Promises. And
so the light of truth has penetrated many a darkened mind, rolling back the
cloud of doom until The Son of Righteousness shone into our hearts with
healing in His Wings. Many have
been un-deceived in regards to the Gospel’s claim that our God loves every
Soul. Yet some of the temptest-tossed
Souls still fail to realize this truth, the Saviour’s love seems too much to
be true! And so we Preach “Come
to Christ just as you are, Sinful and Unholy and He will never turn down the
repentant comer!” “thy sins be
forgiven thee” Yes, even mine and yours may be forgiven and not held against
us anymore. The Lord in His Great
Mercy does not bring judgment on the Earth without giving warning to its
people by the mouth of His servants. When
the sins of the Antediluvians moved
God to bring a Flood of Waters, He first made known to them His Purpose that
they might have opportunity to turn from their evil ways!
For 120 years, the Warning was Sounded in their ears to repent.
But the Message seemed like an idle tale and they did not believe it!
But their unbelief did not stop the Predicted Flood!
Jesus has declared that there will exist similar unbelief concerning
His Second Coming! They say “How
dare one uneducated man to stand up against all the great men of the Earth.
If William Branham’s Message was true, then why did not all the world
see it and believe it? They say it
was just one man’s Preaching against the Wisdom of thousands.” They will
not credit the warning and will not take shelter under His God-sent Message to
repent and escape the Fire that is soon to fall!
As the people of Noah’s day “knew not until the flood came, so, in
the words of Jesus shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.”
From unbelief, the religious world proceeded to Scorn and Contempt,
ridiculing the warning as unworthy of their notice!
They mocked the Messenger of God, made light of his Pleadings and
accused him of trying to make something of himself.
Scoffers pointed to their great churches and hugh crowds and in
Contempt said this minister of Holiness was a crackpot from a by-gone age!
But when the professed People of God are uniting with the world,
joining with them in Forbidden Pleasures, when the ways of the world becomes
the ways of the Church and they are looking forward to years of Pleasure, then
Suddenly as the lightening from Heaven, will come the end of their False
Dreams! As God sent His last day
Prophet to warn of coming judgment, so is He sending other Messengers now to
make known the nearness of the Final Judgment!
Can you hear the Voice of the Spirit to the churches?

We
want to shine God’s Gospel light on one of the devils most effective
weapons that he uses on
God’s Saved People. We will state his lie first, then we
will give God’s word that
uncovers the lie and destroys it!!! You
will recognize the lie at once when I state it, because Satan uses it on all
Born-again People! Here is the
lie!!! We will hear a voice in our
spirit, reminding us of our sins of the past and telling us that our
distresses, our trials, our infirmities, our Perplexities and our Persecutions
are on us because God is judging us for our Past Sins!!!
But this is the Great Lie! God
is not judging us for our Past Sins. All
Past Sins that have been repented of are cast into the Sea of God’s
Forgetfulness! THE BLOOD of the
cross settled the sin question. Micah
7: 18-19 18.
Who
is a God like unto thee, that
pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his
heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19.
He will turn again, He will have
compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all
their sins into the depth of the sea.
What
is this Sea of Forgetfulness? It
is the Blood our God shed on the cross! And
though our Past Sins are gone from God’s mind, because He Paid for them, we
must believe what he said about them!
The devil uses our troubles and trials that are allowed to come to us
to keep Pride from destroying us, the devil uses them to try and
make us Believe we are being judged for our Past Sins.
His goal is to keep us under Condemnation, for if our heart Condemns
us our faith leaks out. 1st
John 3: 18-22 18.
My little children, let us not
love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and truth. 19. And hereby we know that we are in the truth,
and shall assure our hearts before him.
20. For if our heart Condemn
us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22. And whatsoever we ask,
we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that
are pleasing in his sight.
We have been talking about our Past Sins and God says He
remembers them no more, if we have repented and turned from them.
Now what about our Present, Daily Sins??
The very same Spiritual Law applies to them. (The same as to our Past
Sins.) Because we live every day
with a repentant heart, our daily Sins are also under the Shed Blood of
His Cross. 1st John
3: 2-10 2.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and
it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall
appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3. And
every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresses
also the law: for sin is a transgression of the law.
5. And ye know that he was
manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6.
Whosoever
abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known
him. 7.
Little children, let no man deceive you:
he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8.
He
that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy
the works of the devil. 9.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit
sin; for his seed remaineth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of
God. 10.
In this the children of God are manifest
and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of
God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
We
are sons if His Spirit is in us! Rom.
8:8-9 8.
So
then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9. But
ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
if so be
that the Spirit of
God dwell
in you. Now if any man have
not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
How
do we become “of the devil”? by
believing that God is still Judging us of our repented sins!!! Born-again
people will end up believing verse 9.

want to ask you something. Is
there an eternal security? The
Bible says so. The Bible said that
our names were put on the Lamb’s Book of Life before the world ever began.
As I said this morning, (I say it again) the man who wrote the song,
“There Was a New Name Written Down In
Glory Tonight and It’s Mine.”, his idea was all
right, but he was wrong scripturally.
Your name wasn’t put on the night you got saved. Your name, according
to the Bible, according to Revelations 13, 17, and so forth, was put
there before the world ever began; and Jesus Christ was slain before the
foundation of the world.
How
could God, who is infinite…How could an infinite God knowing
the end from the beginning, how could He ever permit sin to come on the
earth, if it wasn’t for a reason? Then
why did He let sickness come? To
show that He was a Healer. (I’m
feeling religious right now! Yes sir!) Oh
my , that’s His attributes. That’s
why He lets trouble come. That’s
why He lets sorrow come—to show that He is Joy.
Sure it is. That’s why we
got a night—to prove there is a day. That’s
why we got temper—to show there is peace.
Sure, it’s pro and con. Oh,
He’s wonderful.
If you are an eternal
creature, then you never had a beginning or never can have an end.
For eternal comes from the word which has no beginning or no
end. I want to ask you, “Who is
this Job 38, when he says, ‘Where were you when I laid the foundation
of the earth? When the morning
stars sang together and the sons of God shouted for joy?’ “Who were those
sons of God that were shouting for joy?’
Jesus told them, “I had joy with you before the foundation of the
world.” We’re
not creatures of time, we’re creatures of eternity
! “ No man
can come to Me come except My
Father draws him.
And all that comes to Me,
I’ll give him eternal life and raise him up at the last days.
No one can pluck them from the Father’s hand, and He gave them to
Me.” How you going to lose?
See, you’re scared. You’re
afraid, You’ll run away here, and that’s one of the best evidences in the
world that you haven’t been nowhere yet.
That’s right.
Well then, the infinite God who saves you here, knowing He’s
going to lose you next week, next month, or next year; why, He’s defeating
the very purpose. He can’t
lose you! “He that heareth My Words and believeth on Him that
sent Me has everlasting life and shall never come into the judgment but is
passed from death to life.” Can’t
do it! He that is born of God does
not commit sin, for the seed of God remains in him, and he cannot sin.
How can he sin when there is a sin-offering for him?
How can I be sick when I’m in perfect health? How can I be blind when
I can see? Oh my! How can I be in the building and out of the building at the
same time? How can I be drunk and sober at the same time?
You can’t do it. And when
you’re saved, you’re under the atonement, and your sins are not reckoned
unto you.
Did not David say,
“Blessed is the man who God will not reckon sin and impute sin to.”
God doesn’t hold the sin
against this creature. That’s
strong! That isn’t skim milk; but that’s the Bible! God will not
reckon sin to the righteous. God
by His grace through predestination, not willing that any should perish, but
all might come to repentance; but being infinite and knowing who would come
and who would not come, He could predestinate everything to work to His will.
(God will not reckon sin to the righteous!
Why Not? Because they
believe His Plan that made us Free! But
those who don’t Believe all the
Plan are still Guilty! When He
made Lucifer, He knew he would be the devil.
He had to let it be there to show that He was the Saviour, the Christ.
He had to let it happen that way. Doesn’t
the Bible say that all things work together for good to them who love God?
So what are you scared about? Let
us be up
