     In April of 1965, Bro. Branham preached a message called “There Is Only One Way Provided By God For Anything”.  In this sermon he taught that there are many People who go to church and go through the motions of worshiping God, but their worship is in vain, because God does not receive it. 

   The Scriptures and the Prophet taught that there is only one Provided Place, (or Spiritual Position) from which God will accept our worship.  That Position or Place is “In Christ”.  It has nothing to do with a geographical Place on a mountain or in a certain City. Then how do we get “Into Christ”?  It is to allow Christ to come into us, and take over our life!

   Jesus said it in this way, “You must Be Born again.”  The New Birth is to receive the Holy Ghost, which is to have our old Soul replaced with God’s own Soul, as He divides it among His Children.

   We want to show by Scripture and by the Prophet’s message that God only accepts true worship that comes from the heart, and is more than just lip Service.    

We are made to wonder how many People sit in churches, singing the songs of Zion and raising their hands to God, but in their heart they have not yet received the Holy Ghost.  They still have some love for the world and their worship is only lip Service.  God certainly knows the difference between lip worship and heart Felt worship, and so I will make a Statement that may shock many, but I will go on to Prove it’s truth with Scripture and the Prophet's   teaching. 

  Here is the Statement:   “God only Accepts the worship of those who are “In Christ”, which is to say, Those who have the Holy Ghost.  The others worship God “In Vain” because their heart is not completely given over to Him.

   John 4:19-24  19  “The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

 20  Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

 21  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

   In these verses Jesus tells us that the time has come when we must worship God “In Spirit and In Truth.”  In other words we must Be In the Spirit, and receiving revelations of truth, and it takes the Holy Ghost Spirit of Christ in us to enable us to do that.

   Mark 7:7 “HOWBEIT, IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING FOR DOCTRINES THE  COMMANDMENTS OF  MEN.”

     God does not receive the worship of those who are teaching False doctrine, and Whose hearts are still unchanged by the Holy Ghost.

  The above Scripture is to warn church goers who have not been Spirit Filled, who raise their hands in church and sing the Songs of Zion.  It is a warning of love, to tell them again that they must be Born again.  This teaching is just one more proof that there is only one Form of Eternal Life and that is the New Birth.  And The Holy Ghost coming to live in us is what the New Birth is.  Justification, is the first Step, Sanctification, the second step, then Conversion is the Infilling of the Holy Ghost.

   Mark 7:6-8  6 “HE (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it written, THIS PEOPLE HONOURETH ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME.

 7  HOWBEIT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP, ME, TEACHING FOR DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.

 8  For laying aside  the commandment  of God,     ye hold   the  tradition of men……..”

   What does it mean to worship God in vain?  It means that it does no good, because God is not receiving it.  In the Old Testament the High Priest only could go into the Holy of Holies.  He had to be right in his heart or God would kill him in there!  He had a rope tied to his ankle So he could be Pulled out if God killed him!  A type of the Fact that today God only receives the worship of those Whose heart is right, otherwise we worship in vain.  And so, Bro. Branham Preached that there is    

only one  Place  where  we must be standing in order to have our worship received, and that Place is under the Blood.  That Statement means that we must be “In Christ.”  To be “In Christ” is to have Christ in us, which is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is the New Birth, which is to have a new Soul! (God’s Soul in us)  Then our heart is not Far From God, and He will receive our worship.  Born Again People have the Gift of righteousness, and therefore can approach the Holy God, being no longer under condemnation. 

   We will now Quote the Prophet from his Sermon “There Is Only One Way Provided By God For Anything.”  Quote: “God’s Provided Place of Worship” Pg.

7. Verse 43  “…………….There needs be somewhere, someplace that He has provided a place for us, that we could come and the worship would be received.  Now, remember, outside of that chosen place, no matter how sincere you are, how fundamental you are, you’re still worshiping in vain.

 44 I know that sounds rude, but the building is about finished.  We don’t want it shaking.  Let’s bolt it down with the Gospel, so that when people meets you on the street, or wherever you are, you Christians, that you’ll have an answer for them.

 45 In the hour when they’re saying, “Oh, this is That.” And “I seen these do this, and that do that,” certainly, all these things has got to happen.  But there is a place that’s provided by God alone, and that’s the place that God meets the worshiper, alone. 

46  Notice the     2nd verse, (Deut. 16:2) “Worship in the place that I have chosen.”  Chosen what?   In this place shows that He has a place," where all people worship.  Other places are in vain.  “And in this same place,” He said, “I have chosen also to put my name in this place.  I’ll choose a place, and I’ll put My Name in it, this place that he’s going to worship.

 47 Now, this shows that there is one place, just  one.  It   must  be    God’s  choosing; it can’t be ours.   We have no  choice coming.      He’s already chose it.

Now, what God chooses is right.  I can choose wrong, you can choose wrong, but God cannot Choose wrong.  After all, it’s, He’s the one being worshiped.  And He’s got the place where He wants His Worshipers to meet there, and we must meet Him there. That’s the only place that He stays; only place that He’ll hear you from.

48 Let us notice here also, “The place I’ve chosen to worship Me in, I’ll put My Name in that place.”

49 Oh, now let us search the Scriptures for that place that He has His Name in.  Now we have shadows and types all through the Bible, we know that, of different places where He met the people, but that’s not the place that He’ll meet them today.  Because they were only foreshadowing something coming up to the real place where He’s to meet the people, the place, the Church that He is to meet in.  And there is a place, there is a Church, that God promised to meet the people in this place and answer their prayers, if they would just come to this place and worship Him.

 50 Now we find out that there is many claim that---that they have the place, God’s Name is in their place.  But, you see they put God’s Name in there.  There is a lot of difference between God putting His Name there and somebody putting there, His Name there.  See?  We must remember that God said He would put.  “I have put My Name.  I will put My Name in this place.  And that’s the place that I choose, and have chosen that people should worship.” (End Quote)

   Quote: “God’s Provided Place of Worship” Pg. 13.  Verse 91 “------------In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead, bodily, where we in there are sons and daughters to God, in God’s Godhead.  Yes, as sons and daughters, we’re in the family, if you’re in there.         

92 Now, how do we get into this great place to worship,  That’s the next question.  How do we get into this place, if Jesus is the place?  He is the Name of God.  He is the place of God’s worship, and He’s the only door to the sheepfold.  And we want to find out how we get into Him then.

  93   Now, if  you’re  into the  door,  of course    you come in like the family, as we was talking the other day about the….or at the breakfast, about the little sheep, that God would not close the door until He found that last little sheep and brought him in.  If you’ve come in, then you become a family---You’re a family of God, when

you’ve  come into God.         But you can’t be a family of God and be Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist and Pentecostal.  You can’t do it.  You have to come into Jesus Christ.”  (End Quote)

   We have to be Born Again, or worship in VAIN.

    Quote: “God’s Provided Place of Worship”   Pg. 14 Verse 100 “Now, after you’re in this Body, Romans 8:1 said, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” 

   There is the place where there is no condemnation.  Whether you go to a Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian church, wherever it is,  if you are in Christ, you are a new creature, and there is no condemnation in you, nowhere at all.  That’s God’s meeting place.  That’s where God meets the worshiper.  There is where you are accounted a new creature, for they’re dead to the things of the world.  They’re alive in Him.  The living Presence of God is with them day by day.”  (End Quote)

   This, ties in with the teaching on the Gift of Righteousness.  God receives the worship of  Holy Ghost Filled People who have the Revelation of the Gift of Righteousness.  Amen
